Birthstones by Astrology Sun Sign: The very first list is for your Astrology Birth Sun Sign Stone, the second list is about the Traditional Stones by your Birth Month, either of these are a totally acceptable gift. Many people do not actually like the energy of their traditional stone. I would always ask the person of whom you are gifting a birthstone, especially if you are opting for a different type of engagement ring, they need to wear this for the rest of their life.
